Review
Although this is a very old album (1996!!), this still remains till today a great album that sounds very up to date. It is actually pretty much a solo album of Mark Kozelek: his voice and his guitar. That is all you need to make mellow songs with melancholic lyrics. The album consists mainly of three types of songs: acoustic songs with lyrics about lost relationships, more varied-sounding songs using electric guitar and rock-based drumming that are more uptempo, and covers, a bunch of great covers (that in my opinion, sound better than the original songs)! This is a classic that everyone should have!
